Orientation and begin study support is a dedicated service that helps students transition smoothly into their academic life at SIMI Swiss. This includes campus or online platform introduction, academic policy briefings, course navigation guidance, and connecting with faculty and classmates.

Why do you need it?
Starting a new study program in a new environment can be overwhelming. Proper orientation reduces confusion, builds confidence, and helps you understand how to succeed academically and socially from the very start.

Who provides it?
This service is delivered by SIMI Swiss’s academic and student affairs teams, together with StudyAbroader advisors. All facilitators are experienced in supporting international students and know the specific academic expectations and learning culture of SIMI Swiss.

When should you use it?
You should participate in orientation activities before your first class begins. This early engagement ensures you are familiar with essential systems, resources, and community expectations.

Where is it offered?
Orientation is provided both online (for distance learners) and in person at SIMI Swiss campuses. Additional small group sessions or individual consultations may be offered through local partner offices, depending on location.

How does it work?
Students join scheduled orientation sessions covering academic regulations, assessment methods, and support services. You will receive training on using the learning management system (LMS), access to library and digital resources, and tips for balancing study and life abroad. You also meet faculty members, join introduction activities with classmates, and receive personal guidance to finalize your study plan.

SIMI Swiss does not guarantee the recognition of its qualifications or programs by any third parties, including but not limited to governments, ministries of education, licensing bodies, or other educational institutions in any jurisdiction. Recognition decisions are made solely at the discretion of such third parties and are beyond the control of SIMI Swiss.
Students are encouraged to check credit transfer policies and professional recognition requirements as needed.
