A successful defense requires clear communication, confident presentation skills, and the ability to respond effectively to challenging questions. Many students feel nervous or unsure — expert support helps you prepare thoroughly and present your work with authority.

Who provides it?
This service is delivered by SIMI Swiss faculty members, experienced research supervisors, and StudyAbroader academic advisors. All advisors are knowledgeable about defense expectations and have extensive experience coaching students through this critical final step.

When should you use it?
You should start using this support after your thesis or project has been approved for defense and as you prepare your presentation materials. Early preparation ensures ample time to practice and refine your delivery.

Where is it offered?
Defense support is provided online via virtual workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions, and mock defenses. In-person sessions are also available at SIMI Swiss campuses or partner offices where applicable.

The service includes content feedback, delivery coaching, and simulated practice. It does not guarantee defense approval, conduct the defense on behalf of students, or determine final evaluation outcomes.

Disclaimer on External Recognition
Defense support services do not guarantee thesis acceptance, degree conferral, or external recognition.
SIMI Swiss does not guarantee the recognition of its qualifications or programs by any third parties, including but not limited to governments, ministries of education, licensing bodies, or other educational institutions in any jurisdiction. Recognition decisions are made solely at the discretion of such third parties and are beyond the control of SIMI Swiss.
